Check-in post!

I really meant to be better about those check-in posts. I did! Once a week, I thought. Or once every two weeks. And then RL got crazy...

But hey -- this makes me wonder how often people would like to see check-in posts. I tend to think check-in posts are handy for keeping people motivated and working; it helps me to know that I'll be able to say "I have X words toward my goal!" at the end of the week. Thus: a poll!

I've worked on my intended January story, and it's nearly finished...so hopefully will be done in the next week, so then onto the next one (which it would be nice to have done by 27 Feb!)
