Check-in post!

I really meant to be better about those check-in posts. I did! Once a week, I thought. Or once every two weeks. And then RL got crazy...

But hey -- this makes me wonder how often people would like to see check-in posts. I tend to think check-in posts are handy for keeping people motivated and working; it helps me to know that I'll be able to say "I have X words toward my goal!" at the end of the week. Thus: a poll!

I haven't finished any stories that qualify toward my goal, but I have two stories that will qualify in progress. If I finish 'em both this month, I will be on track for a slower, easier pace for the rest of the year, which I would like very much. :)

I have posted two stories for my goal (got through the second one last night), so I'm a little bit ahead of schedule! Which is super exciting. :3

I answered I don't care, because I would be fine with weekly, twice monthly, or monthly check-ins. :)

As for this month, I met my goal! My goal is simply one fic a month, preferably over 1000 words. I actually wrote two fics, though one was just a double-drabble.

One story posted and a better, longer story in the works for February! Also I've adjusted my goal a little so that I'm going to write a different woman for each of the twelve stories (otherwise I could imagine twelve stories about Cadman, and there are plenty of women to write about).

Wait, I think "Indecent Proposals" counts towards my goal. So 1/12, but I'm not entirely happy with it as a goal-post.

I haven't met this month's goal. I'm still faffing about trying to figure out which book I want to work on. I have not forgotten about the challenge, though.

I have two stories due on the 14th that have to be got out of the way first, so I'll give myself that long to figure out the novel.

I have written 1366 words of one story which is a fair way along to being done, and it fits bonus one, two and maybe three.

I've signed up for a challenge.

While I haven't finished a story yet, I'm feeling really good about what I have done.
